A very cool tool I showed last Thursday afternoon was an add on to Google Docs called TextHelp Study Skills
TextHelp is a great highlighting tool that allows you to highlight sections of a google doc and then collate the sections into a google doc which saves on your Drive. All highlights can be collated or just one section. This summary can then be embedded into class resources or sent out via Teacher Dashboard. (Note - Bosco asked if this could be done in the workshop - brilliant question!)
How to get an add on?
I think this tool has added value allowing both teachers and students to create summaries of notes. Could be very useful as students start to make revision notes. Students could work collaboratively to
create revision notes which could be shared with the class.
