5 days of Google Tips - Day 5


Using google docs is now becoming embedded in our practice, but don't forget to use all the features.
Comments- these can be used in a variety of ways, teacher comment/feedback/marking/student reminders or their answer back to you. When a student corrects their work and clicks resolve the comment disappears from the page, but is still available to see if you re click comments
History- the revision history is useful if you make a mistake and delete work, you can see who is collaborating or not, and also the pace of student work.
Changing the settings - Don't forget that you can change setting for a doc to view only or comment
Research Tool- Allows students to find articles and image on their topic, cite the reference and add a link to that article.
