Usually someone tells you( emails, tweets, messages) but often it is a colleague who tells you about something new to try. Last week over a cheeky Pinot Gris at No4 in Merivale, a teaching colleague shared a cool tool and so I looked around for some unsuspecting Chemists to try it out on.
The tool is an add on to Google Sheets, where all your answers are collated and there is a great
'How to" video that goes with it.
It is called Super Quiz. You get the tool by opening up Google Sheets, go to add ons, add Super Quiz, go to Help and watch the video. or go to THIS LINK
The quiz is filled out on Forms and results are collated on sheets. The quiz is self marking and gives % for each question.The real advantage is that students can be emailed individual results and advice. See below.
These intelligent students achieved high results and completed the quiz in a timely manner.
Please note: No Chemists were damaged in the creation of this blog post and several were fed chocolate fish for their efforts.
