How often do we have the time to visit another colleague's classroom? It might be a rushed visit to borrow a resource or organize the marking or even co-ordinate sports practice, but it is very difficult in a busy Secondary School to make time to actually visit another colleague, watch how they teach, what they teach, how they use technology etc. I don't think it is because we don't want to or think it is a good idea, for a variety of reasons, it just doesn't happen often enough.
